ACE SPECIALIST HSC TUITION

ANNOUNCEMENTS

ACE 2022 HSC Trial Preparation Course

What is the Trial Preparation Course at ACE?

The Trial Preparation Courses consist of 8 weeks of 2.5 hour lessons, which are taught through the principle of problem-based learning. Students will be exposed to a variety of challenging and insightful questions to encourage active recall and consolidation of knowledge. The theory content from the entire HSC year will be revised through the lens of challenging exam style questions with tutors spending two weeks each covering Modules 5, 6, 7 and 8.

ACE’s HSC Trial Preparation Courses for Chemistry and Physics is an 8 week assisted perparation term in the leady up to your School Trial Exams, and covers the FULL YEAR’s content from the HSC syllabus.

The course will run through May and June in the lead up to our ACE HSC Exam Program.

The course also includes a full set of ACE module summary booklets, with each booklet containing an overview of the key theoretical concepts from the module, and a newly developed collection of exam practice questions. These practice questions are modelled on the emerging trends from NESA, presenting complex questions which test students’ ability to problem solve across multiple concepts and/or modules.

Exam technique will also be a key focus of each lesson. Your tutor will cover these critical skills:

  • Accurately interpreting complex questions
  • Recognising relevant concepts from across the syllabus
  • Planning your answers with consideration for marker expectations
  • Efficiently drafting and structuring your answers
  • Enhancing your ‘Working Scientifically’ skills

With lessons being an efficient 2.5 hours long and with both on-campus and live online class options, students still completing Module 8 with ACE will have the option to fit these classes in around their existing studies.

Course Fees:

  • ACE Students: $750*
  • Non-ACE students $990*

* early bird pricing – to be paid before the end of your second class . Up to $100 in extra discounts available via referrals.

As mentioned above, if you would like to participate, please complete the booking form below so that we can secure your spot.
